About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced engineering professional to join our team as a Senior Billing Engineer cum Quantity Surveyor cum Planning Engineer. This unique position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for someone with expertise in all aspects of overhead water tank projects, from pre-construction to billing.

Responsibilities:

Billing:

  • Prepare and manage all billing documents for overhead water tank projects, ensuring compliance with contract terms.
  • Conduct rate analysis and cost estimation for materials and labor.
  • Process and verify contractor invoices for accuracy.
  • Generate cost reports and reconcile billing with project estimates.
  • Liaise with clients regarding billing queries and ensure timely payments.

Quantity Surveying:

  • Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), Bar Bending Schedule & detailing for overhead water tank projects.
  • Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine material and labor quantities.
  • Participate in pre-qualification of vendors and prepare comparative statements.
  • Conduct joint site measurements with contractors to verify work completed.

Planning:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules for overhead water tank construction.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks to ensure timely completion.
  • Monitor project progress and track against the schedule and budget.
  • Prepare progress reports and presentations for internal and client stakeholders.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with internal teams (project managers, engineers) and external stakeholders (contractors, clients).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • The candidate should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role on Water Works / Jal Jeevan Mission (Overhead Water Tank) projects in India.
  • Proven experience in construction billing, quantity surveying, and project planning.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian Standard Water Works construction contracts and billing procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and construction scheduling software (e.g., MS Project).
  • Working knowledge of relevant Indian Standards (IS codes), Jal Jeevan Mission DPR & Specifications, CPWD (AOR, SOR, GCC & Manual).

Senior Engineer having engineering Skills to manage and execute a mid to large size Water Supply project especially overhead water tank works under JJM scheme of govt of India. Shall demonstrate his engineering skills in execution, planning billing of OHT, water pipeline, distribution and supply works. He shall effectively monitor and plan and execute the project within the timelines and shall be able to present and liaison the project updates to relevant stake holders and Clients.

Role & responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the execution of the Overhead Water Tank Jal Jeevan Mission Project, ensuring it is completed within time and budget constraints.
  • Manage multiple project sites and ensure efficient coordination between them.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of site Engineers, Foreman, Supervisor and other staff members.
  • Collaborate with relevant authorities, government officials, andlocal communities to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Utilize your deep understanding of the OTH , Jal Jeevan Mission Project to make informed decisions and provide technical guidance when necessary.
  • Maintain comprehensive project records and documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and other relevant documents.
  • Having exposure in the field for Execution of Overhead Water Tank Work.
  • Look after day wise progress of civil works and planning for day-to-day site execution works.
  • Co-ordination with Client for approval of drawings and design of various civil structures.
  • Clearing checking & inspection call from client for site works execution w.r.t quality purpose.
  • Monitoring to all site staff and work allotment for various civil structures and deciding targets for the same.
  • Estimation and Rate analysis of various civil structures items.
  • Raising material indent as site requirements.
  • Handling of materials and manpower resources.
  • Checking and verifying MRM Report for monthly review meeting.
  • Checking and verifying Sub-contractors’ bills.
  • Encourage and guiding of sub ordinates regarding site work.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Should be a B.Tech/Diploma in Civil with minimum 7 to 10+ Years of experience and minimum 5+ years of experience in (JJM)Water supply projects is must.
  • Having exposure in Overhead Water Tank, Pipeline, Civil structure Execution of large (JJM)Water Supply Projects.
  • Shall have experience in getting the work executed at site.
  • Shall demonstrate skills in planning, billing and implementing work on the ground.
  • Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule and scope.
  • Monitors project deliverables, work in progress, billing and manage team of supervisors.
  • Daily update on Project implementation and progress to Stakeholders and liaison with Clients (govt Client) on project delivery and progress.

We are seeking an experienced and capable Engineer/Civil Foreman/Supervisor to oversee and manage civil construction projects. The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry / (JJM) water supply project.

Role & responsibilities

  • Project Rural water supply scheme under Jal Jeevan mission
  • Managing Project of Overhead Tank, Pumphouse, Pipeline, Home Connection & Water Supply lines etc.
  • Assessment, Onboarding & Managing Civil Infrastructure Vendors, Contractors & Subcontractors.
  • Working under the direction of a Project manager / Construction Manager /Senior Engineer to prepare smooth work plan and process.
  • Coordination with junior staff & Labour Compliance.
  • As a Civil Foreman/Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and safe execution of construction activities

Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand project scope, objectives, and timelines.
  • Assist in creating detailed work schedules and resource allocation plans.
  • Coordinate with other teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Supervise and lead a team of construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure that the team maintains high levels of productivity and work quality.
  • Oversee the implementation of civil construction activities as per approved plans and specifications.
  • Monitor progress and ensure that work is carried out efficiently and in compliance with Quality & Safety standards.
  • Address any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure work meets the required standards.
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all safety regulations and practices.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and address safety concerns promptly.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of construction materials and equipment.
  • Manage inventory and oversee the proper utilization of resources to minimize wastage.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of work progress, labor, and material usage.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and communicate project status to higher management.
  • Identify and resolve construction-related issues in a timely and effective manner.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Proven experience as a Civil Engineer / Foreman/Supervisor in the construction industry (5-10 years).
